We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated person to join our Collections team in the role of Registrar.

The Registrar position is a permanent position responsible for providing documentation, access and physical care of the collections of the Hawke’s Bay Museums Trust held at Hawke’s Bay Museum & Art Gallery. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a significant and broad collection and be part of the opening of the redeveloped Hawke's Bay Museum & Art Gallery in 2013.

We are looking for someone with excellent interpersonal and communication skills and keen attention to detail. A high level of computer skills and Vernon experience also required. The successful candidate will need to have a relevant tertiary qualification with museum registration experience.
